Gulf Middle School is the proud recipient of a $4,400 grant award from the Toshiba America Foundation.
Reading Coach, Suzanne Wallace, submitted the project, “Thinking Out of the Box,” on behalf of the students and staff of Gulf Middle School to support STEM learning through 3D design and printing.
“We are grateful for this grant to support our efforts in expanding STEM studies at Gulf Middle School,” said Dr. Michelle Cort-Mora, Gulf Middle principal.
Thanks to the efforts of Suzanne Wallace and the Toshiba America Foundation grant, the school will soon offer a 3D Engineering class to its students.
The class will develop and enhance engineering skills and, ultimately the students will design, print, assemble, and test 3D printed prosthetics.
